Autoridades ambientales reconocen a Mayakoba como el primer destino en Quintana Roo y cuarto en México en lograr el más alto nivel de desempeño ambiental en la región.
El eco-resort conformado por los hoteles Andaz, Banyan Tree, Fairmont y Rosewood es galardonado con la más alta certificación como Desarrollo Turístico Sustentable y Socialmente Responsable.
Mayakoba, México – 07 de Noviembre, 2019. Ubicado en la Riviera Maya, Mayakoba es un destino rodeado de la belleza natural de lagunas, selvas y una de las playas de arena blanca más grandes de la zona. Los esfuerzos que en Mayakoba se han hecho desde el proceso de planeación, construcción y operación, para crear un destino turístico sustentable de clase mundial, han sido medidos, evaluados y reconocidos desde el 2011 por Rainforest Alliance y la Organización Mundial de Turismo. Esta última, otorgó a Mayakoba el premio Ulysses en la categoría de Innovación en las Empresas por ser un Desarrollo Sustentable y Socialmente Responsable.
Rainforest Alliance ha certificado a los Hoteles de Mayakoba durante 8 años a través de estándares reconocidos por el Consejo Global de Turismo Sostenible, obteniendo en días pasados calificaciones por encima del 96% en la última recertificación de los Hoteles Fairmont, Rosewood, Banyan Tree y Andaz. El programa de certificación de Rainforest Alliance tiene como objetivo conservar la biodiversidad y proporcionar medios de vida sostenibles, por lo que su programa se basa en tres pilares fundamentales para lograr la sostenibilidad: la protección del medio ambiente, la equidad y la viabilidad económica de la empresa
La empresa RLH Properties se congratula del reconocimiento que recientemente obtuvo también del Gobierno de México, quien, a través de la Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) otorgó a todo el complejo Mayakoba, el certificado en Calidad Ambiental Turística en el Nivel de Desempeño Ambiental 2; el cual, es el máximo nivel que una empresa puede alcanzar y que reconoce de manera adicional el compromiso con la mejora continua para mantener y mejorar el nivel de desempeño ambiental. El Nivel de Desempeño Ambiental 2 se ha obtenido a través de la implementación del Sistema de Manejo y Gestión Ambiental y del seguimiento a través del monitoreo constante de indicadores de desempeño que se han logrado mejorar con la inversión que Mayakoba ha hecho en equipos y procesos más eficientes, asegurando de esta manera el menor impacto posible al medio ambiente.

Mayakoba obtuvo de manera subsecuente las certificaciones cada 2 años y continuó trabajando en mejorar sus procesos e invertir en equipos más eficientes que ayudarán a mejorar los indicadores ambientales, ya que este es uno de los principales requisitos para obtener el Nivel de Desempeño Ambiental 2. Por esta razón festeja este certificado, ya que nuevamente el desarrollo se posiciona como un referente en el tema de sustentabilidad al ser el 1er complejo que cuenta con el Certificado de Calidad Ambiental Turística en el Nivel de Desempeño Ambiental 2, en el Estado de Quintana Roo y el cuarto a nivel nacional.
Estas certificaciones son un testimonio de que las operaciones en Mayakoba están alineadas con las bases de sustentabilidad, al realizar una gestión empresarial adecuada que consiste en cuidar y respetar el entorno natural y contribuir al desarrollo social y cultural de la comunidad local. PARTY LIABLE FOR PERSONAL DATA.
“RLH Properties, S.A.B. de C.V.” (hereinafter named “RLH PROPERTIES”) with address at Av. Paseo de la Reforma 412, Piso 21, Colonia Juárez, Delegación Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06600, Ciudad de México, shall hold on its own behalf or through any legal entity which is a holding company or branch office thereof with the conviction to protect personal information (hereinafter “Personal Data”) provided by the individuals (hereinafter “User”) and shall be liable for its Handling whenever obtained by the internet web site www.rlhproperties.mx (hereinafter the “Web Site”), by written means and/or by phone (hereinafter “Other Means”).

RLH PROPERTIES may request and/or obtain Personal Data from User through the Web Site and Other Means for the purposes stated below; also to comply with any required legal provisions, or whenever requested by the competent authorities (hereinafter the “Handling”). User may find within the Web Site, pages, promotional adds, microsites, virtual stores, surveys, employment offers and other services shared with third parties and which may request Personal Data (hereinafter “Third Party Sites”). RLH PROPERTIES warns User that some services of the Web Site may include, enunciative but not limited to, discussion forums, personal internet pages, classified adds, electronic mail, chat rooms, among others. RLH PROPERTIES shall not be liable for the use, publishing, disclosing and/or revealing made of such Personal Data in the above-mentioned media. Exercise of rights to Access, Rectify, End or Challenge Personal Data and Revoke consent made by User shall be made prior request to RLH PROPERTIES and contain at least the following:

Documents crediting identity or, if appropriate, the legal representation of owner;
Clear and precise description of Personal Data to exercise any of the rights above-mentioned (in the event of rectification, indicate changes and provide documents sustaining such request);

COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS.
With the purposes of improving Users’ experience on the Web Site, RLH PROPERTIES may use “cookies”. Therefore, this Privacy Notice identifies “cookies” as such text archives holding information any site transfers to the hard disk of Users’ computer with the purpose of storing certain registries and preferences.
